GBV Guidelines (Global Technical Guidelines on the Prevention of and Response to Gender-Based Violence).

Project Overview:
Manifest Media partnered with the GBV Guidelines team to strengthen their digital knowledge products through a coordinated suite of multimedia content. The objective was to translate complex, evidence-based guidance on gender-based violence (GBV) prevention and response into accessible, engaging formats for a global audience of practitioners, policymakers, and advocates.

Our Role:

  • We produced and edited a series of podcasts and videos that elevate expert insight and lived experience, supporting deeper understanding of what works in GBV prevention and response.

  • Alongside this, we designed clear, visually compelling reports and digital materials that communicate key findings and recommendations in a user-friendly way.

  • Across all deliverables, we ensured cultural sensitivity and close alignment with the Guidelines’ survivor-centred, evidence-based principles.

Impact:
The multimedia assets have expanded the reach and usability of the GBV Guidelines worldwide. By combining rigorous data with human-centred storytelling, the project has enabled audiences to engage more deeply with the evidence and apply it more effectively—strengthening critical conversations and action on GBV prevention and response across contexts.
